About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform fair value measurement of biological assets;
Perform monthly reconciliations and accounting analyses;
Execute routines related to the monthly accounting close;
Critically analyze movements in balance sheet and income statement accounts;
Prepare notes to the financial statements (explanatory notes);
Provide guidance to colleagues;
Support internal and external audits;
Understand accounting/inventory/costing system configurations (SAP) and post journal entries;
Prepare and maintain operational manuals up to date.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field;
Proven, solid experience in accounting and in preparing notes to the financial statements;
Experience with SAP is a plus;
Experience with Biological Assets (CPC 29) is desirable;
Experience supporting external audits is desirable;
Experience in publicly listed companies is desirable;
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Outlook) and Power BI.
