About the role
- Develop, implement, and maintain an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) plan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to assess strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Establish risk policies, procedures, and reporting tools to promote risk awareness.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to senior leadership.
- Own and manage the company’s corporate insurance program.
- Partner with insurance brokers to ensure adequate and cost-effective insurance coverage.
- Drive insurance renewal processes and support claims management.
- Administer the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) for the manufacturing plant build-out.
- Ensure that all Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are collected and renewed as required.
- Develop key risk and insurance performance metrics to measure effectiveness.
- Provide training and guidance to enhance risk awareness and compliance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, corporate insurance, treasury, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, principles, and best practices.
- Experience leading or participating in a cross-functional ERM collaboration council.
- Hands-on experience managing corporate insurance programs and working with brokers and insurance carriers.
- Familiarity with national commercial insurance brokers and underwriters.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across teams.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges.
