About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review new customer onboarding applications for completeness and compliance.
Verify customer identities and business documentation as part of KYC/KYB onboarding.
Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
Conduct sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening during onboarding.
Assess AML and onboarding risk and escalate higher-risk applications when appropriate.
Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve onboarding issues.
Maintain accurate onboarding records, audit trails, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High agency and a strong sense of ownership.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
Exposure to AML, customer onboarding, compliance, fraud, or risk operations is a plus, but not required.
