Onboarding Analyst
SlashOnboarding Analyst at Slash facilitating new customer onboarding safely and efficiently in a fintech environment. Collaborating with multiple teams to ensure compliance and AML controls.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review new customer onboarding applications for completeness and compliance.
- Verify customer identities and business documentation as part of KYC/KYB onboarding.
- Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
- Conduct sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening during onboarding.
- Assess AML and onboarding risk and escalate higher-risk applications when appropriate.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve onboarding issues.
- Maintain accurate onboarding records, audit trails, and compliance documentation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High agency and a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
- Exposure to AML, customer onboarding, compliance, fraud, or risk operations is a plus, but not required.
