About the role
- Create precise and organized AutoCAD drawings for interior design projects
- Develop and maintain floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), elevations, details, and schedules
- Implement design directions and incorporate redlines from designers and project leads
- Ensure drawings are coordinated with project specifications and finish schedules
- Uphold drafting standards, including layering, dimensioning, and annotation consistency
- Revise drawings promptly while ensuring high accuracy
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to resolve discrepancies and clarify design intent
- Manage drawing files and maintain clear version control throughout project phases
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Previous experience in interior design, architecture, or related drafting work
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and consistently maintain drafting standards
- Experience in coordinating drawings with design specifications, finish schedules, and material selections
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain clean, legible plans
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a design team
