About the role
- Regional Content Planning: Own the planning and scheduling of content for Northern Europe, ensuring alignment with market-specific licensing windows, audience preferences, and seasonal strategies.
- Genre Oversight: Lead the planning and scheduling of Films, Kids, and Unscripted content across all SkyShowtime markets, balancing high-priority launches (e.g., “Wicked”) with library titles and seasonal specials.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Editorial, Strategy, Marketing & Retention, PR, and Content Operations to align launch dates, localisation timelines, and promotional strategies.
- Tool & Dashboard Management: Maintain Airtable and Tableau dashboards for content volume tracking, title locks, and slate scoring. Ensure data accuracy, timely updates and share/flag interesting findings cross-department.
- Operational Coordination: Monitor asset delivery volumes, manage title lock deadlines, and communicate scheduling updates to internal stakeholders.
- Shareholder Coordination: Gather information about upcoming content from shareholders, maintaining close relationship with key connections and coordinating that internally.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with regional teams and central functions to ensure smooth handovers, timely feedback loops, and alignment on priorities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in content planning, scheduling, or editorial operations across non-linear or linear channels.
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics in Northern Europe.
- Experience using content management systems e.g. Airtable, Tableau, within streaming or TV.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be fluent in English and with excellent oral and writing skills. Additional language capabilities across Northern Europe are advantageous.
