About the role
- Serve as Skydio’s face on a nationwide marketing roadshow vehicle; drive and maintain the vehicle and set up events. Support live product demonstrations for public safety and utility audiences; troubleshoot drones and AV equipment. Represent Skydio at field marketing events, trade shows, and customer engagements; collect feedback and coordinate with GTM. Conduct routine checks on drones, audiovisual equipment, and the marketing vehicle; resolve technical issues on-site. Build rapport with attendees, communicate customer insights to marketing and product teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a field marketing, technical sales, or similar customer-facing role. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience driving large vehicles (e.g., vans, trailers). Hands-on experience with drones and familiarity with their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Willingness to travel extensively across the United States, including nights and weekends. Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification (or willingness to obtain it) (preferred). Technical expertise with audiovisual equipment used for live demonstrations (preferred).
