About the role
- Lead or support development and execution of account acquisition and growth plans; meet quotas and expand relationships.
- Own customer success and satisfaction; monitor issues and ensure timely resolution to maintain account performance.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion; collaborate with project and cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions.
- Lead or support deal negotiations and closings, ensuring alignment with client and SkyCell strategic goals.
- Drive customer satisfaction and growth by understanding client needs, presenting updates and insights, collecting feedback, and mitigating retention risks.
- Manage or assist with account plans, forecasting, implementation and performance analysis; coordinate project teams to ensure revenue growth and alignment with objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, operations and other teams to allocate resources and meet project goals for lane implementation.
- Act as brand ambassador: organize events, conduct demos, lead forums, and participate in customer meetings to enhance market visibility.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with end customers (pharma shippers), freight forwarders, and airlines.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of reporting of client interactions and progress in company systems.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales (pharma or life sciences preferred).
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, software, or cold chain solutions.
- Deep product, industry and market knowledge (trends, dynamics and competitive landscape).
- Proven experience in logistic/supply chain processes in the pharma industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills to present value proposition, negotiate and close deals.
- Customer-centricity: quickly understand customer needs, value and economic drivers.
- Challenger mindset: offer unique perspectives and challenge assumptions.
- Strong skills in building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills; comfortable discussing numbers.
- Great project management skills and commitment to timely execution.
- Remarkable communication and presentation skills.
- Work authorization/ability to be located in or relocate (without sponsorship) to one of the listed locations.
