About the role
- Join SkyCell: mission-driven company revolutionizing digital logistics and healthcare with web and mobile applications.
- Design and implement clean, maintainable, and scalable client-side code using TypeScript and React.
- Build and iterate on responsive, reliable, and secure web applications that perform across devices.
- Ensure product quality with unit tests (Jest) and end-to-end tests (Playwright is a nice-to-have).
- Own feature development from idea to deployment, aligning closely with product and design.
- Review code, challenge assumptions, and help raise the technical bar across the team.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and support team growth through technical guidance.
- Help shape frontend architecture and guide long-term decisions (modularity, patterns, performance).
- Troubleshoot PROD issues including HotFix coordination and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to documentation and ensure developed components are reusable and easy to onboard.
- Collaborate with backend devs on API definitions and coordinate with QAs and BAs on new implementations.
Requirements
- Expertise in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and the React ecosystem (hooks, context, modular design)
- Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative, CI/CD environment
- Understanding of web security, performance, and accessibility best practices
- Experience designing or contributing to scalable frontend architectures
- Proficient with Git, npm/yarn, and modern tooling
- Familiarity with agile processes and delivering frequently with fast feedback loops
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Nice to have: Experience with MUI v5 or other component libraries/design systems
- Nice to have: Exposure to React Native for cross-platform mobile development
- Nice to have: Familiarity with React Query, Storybook, or Lighthouse
- Nice to have: Experience with GitHub Actions
- Nice to have: Experience with frontend monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Logz.io)
- Nice to have: Understanding of mobile-first and accessibility-first design principles
