About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

International Support & Scaling: Act as a key finance lead for international requirements, providing the support needed to navigate cross-border operational challenges as we expand.
VAT & Compliance Ownership: Take full control of all VAT-related compliance. You will identify areas that haven't been properly optimised, resolve outstanding complexities, and ensure regulatory rigour across multiple jurisdictions.
Process Implementation: You will design, implement and maintain higher-level financial controls and workflows. This involves identifying gaps in current processes and building the structures to close them
Project Delivery: Lead diverse, high-priority finance projects. You will be expected to dive into new areas of the business, assess compliance needs, and deliver solutions autonomously.
Strategic Support: Provide the technical expertise and project management required to allow the finance function to scale with the speed of our international growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High Agency: You are a self-starter who excels at identifying what needs to be done and doing it. You are comfortable diving into complex compliance issues without a pre-existing playbook.
Qualifications: You are ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a rigorous technical foundation. You enjoy the challenge of solving complex regulatory puzzles and bringing order to data.
Autonomous & Project-Driven: You thrive when given a goal and the latitude to determine the optimal path forward.
Pragmatic & Technical: You possess an acute attention to detail, while maintaining a strategic view of how finance enables a fast-moving DTC business.
