Admin support for People related queries throughout the employee lifecycle, including supporting management with probation processes, holiday requests, ER issues and resignation protocols
On-board new joiners, with the preparation of contracts, processing new starter documentation, monitor work permits/visas, right to work and coordinating induction plans
Manage the end-to-end IT setup for new joiners, including configuring and testing laptops (e.g., accounts, software, security checks) to ensure they are fully operational for Day 1, and managing the inventory and timely distribution of equipment
Liaise with Payroll Team, to ensure the timely processing of payroll activities
Co-chair our culture club meetings, bringing enthusiasm and ideas for the next big event or social
Contribute to the continued success of all People projects for the business
Screen CV’s and shortlist exceptional candidates for multiple open positions at one time
Organise, schedule and conduct phone interviews with candidates across many departments at Skin + Me including: Operations and Customer Service
Support hiring managers with interview calendar management and communication with candidates to ensure the hiring process is efficient
Represent and communicate our Skin + Me values to provide an excellent candidate experience to all
Requirements
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Consistent attention to detail and accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness of work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional maturity and discretion when dealing with personal and sensitive data
Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace, including Excel/Sheets
Previous experience in an HR / People / Recruitment role, preferably in a retail or start-up environment is advantageous but not essential
Experience using an ATS (such as Workable) or HRIS (such as Charlie HR) is advantageous but not essential
