About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Director of Merchandising in developing and executing seasonal clothing assortments aligned with SKIMS' brand and business objectives.
- Analyze weekly sales, inventory, and customer trends to provide insights that support assortment and merchandising decisions.
- Submit and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and timely communication with cross-functional partners and vendors.
- Partner with Design, Product Development, Planning, and Production teams to track product development milestones and key deliverables.
- Maintain accurate assortment information, product data, pricing, and merchandising documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prepare reports, assortment recaps, and presentations for seasonal reviews and cross-functional meetings.
- Conduct competitive research to identify market trends and opportunities within the apparel category.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or apparel preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Netsuite +
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.
- Passion for apparel merchandising and an understanding of the contemporary clothing market.
