About the role
- Lead Defined Benefit specialist responsible for understanding client’s DB Plans in detail
- Explain DB Plans to internal Fidelity resources such as computer developers and ongoing operations team
- Work directly with clients on new client implementations and improvement projects for existing clients
- Gather DB Plan-specific knowledge from the client
- Build a link between the client and internal Fidelity resources for DB knowledge
- Build confidence with clients that Fidelity will operate their DB Plans accurately
Requirements
- Extensive expertise with Defined Benefit Pension Plans, ideally 10+ years
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail
- Strong consultative skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to move projects forwards, on time and on budget
- Working understanding of pension laws and regulations
- Actuarial designations (EA, ASA) a plus but not required
