About the role

  • Lead Defined Benefit specialist responsible for understanding client’s DB Plans in detail
  • Explain DB Plans to internal Fidelity resources such as computer developers and ongoing operations team
  • Work directly with clients on new client implementations and improvement projects for existing clients
  • Gather DB Plan-specific knowledge from the client
  • Build a link between the client and internal Fidelity resources for DB knowledge
  • Build confidence with clients that Fidelity will operate their DB Plans accurately

Requirements

  • Extensive expertise with Defined Benefit Pension Plans, ideally 10+ years
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail
  • Strong consultative skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to move projects forwards, on time and on budget
  • Working understanding of pension laws and regulations
  • Actuarial designations (EA, ASA) a plus but not required
