About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Executive Director in operating the State office
  • Work with the Department of Education and critical local school administrators and teachers to build SkillsUSA Texas membership and participation
  • Plan and execute Fall Leadership and District Contests in their district
  • Provide leadership and assistance to new chapter advisors
  • Collaborate with Regional Manager to create and maintain partnerships
  • Prepare tech chairs, judges, and contest standards for the District Leadership and Skills Conferences
  • Participate in the execution of Summer Leadership in coordination with district officers' attendance
  • Maintain inventory of district supplies and submit annually.
  • Mandatory attendance at the State Leadership and Skills Conference.
