About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement global procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
- Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Oversee procurement categories such as property, facilities, variable costs linked to training delivery, and third-party training providers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets company standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements in the respective countries.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to senior management.
- Meet with key clients to review spend trends and opportunities
