About the role

  • Key player in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close: prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with preparing GAAP financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Build supporting schedules and perform variance analysis for management reporting.
  • Partner with auditors and internal teams to provide documentation and insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and ensure alignment between business activities and financial reporting.
  • Assist in implementation of new accounting standards and corporate policies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements that make reporting faster and more accurate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (corporate or public).
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excel proficiency; exposure to ERP/reporting tools a plus (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
  • Demonstrated interest in using AI to automate and streamline accounting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Prior experience in SaaS companies is a plus.
