About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead creative projects across multiple client accounts, balancing priorities, timelines, budgets, and quality
Scope and estimate new work, developing timelines, budgets, resource plans, and creative briefs
Partner with Design Leads and Operations to staff projects with the right team based on skills, capacity, and client needs
Monitor project profitability, resource utilization, and delivery performance, proactively adjusting plans as priorities shift
Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication throughout each engagement
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet SketchDeck’s quality standards
Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication and project delivery
Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, planning sessions, and day-to-day client communication
Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, priorities, and goals to help guide project planning and identify future opportunities
Identify opportunities to expand existing work and partner with the Account Manager or Business Development team to develop those opportunities
For accounts without a dedicated Account Manager, own the ongoing client relationship, account health, and growth opportunities
Lead weekly standups and manage a team of designers, writers and QC specialists
Manage and mentor junior Project Managers, providing coaching and support as needed
Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Design and Operations for clean handoffs & a seamless client experience
Identify process improvements and share best practices across the PM team
Share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the PMO

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of creative project management experience within a creative agency
Experience managing multiple accounts, including enterprise and Fortune 100 clients, and $1M+ in annual project volume
Ability to accurately estimate, scope, and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
Expertise in brand systems, multi-channel campaigns, and complex creative workflows; proficient with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Proven ability to build trusted client relationships while leading cross-functional creative teams
Experience mentoring Project Coordinators or junior Project Managers
Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Workfront, or similar
