About the role

  • Design the data modeling architecture in dbt (structure, conventions, performance, documentation, reliability) to enable self-service analytics
  • Optimize query performance and cost on Snowflake
  • Define and maintain modeling standards in collaboration with the Data Analysts team
  • Make data accessible and usable for enterprise-wide AI and automation use cases
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD for transformation pipelines
  • Collaborate with the Data Analysts team to support and accelerate their development
  • Contribute to business analyses in support of the Analytics team when needed

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering with strong dbt expertise
  • Proficiency in SQL and dbt (project architecture, macros, tests, documentation)
  • Solid experience with Snowflake (query optimization, cost management, governance)
  • Experience with a data visualization tool (Looker or equivalent)
  • CI/CD skills applied to data pipelines
  • Familiarity with AI and automation is a real plus
  • Thinks in terms of architecture and scalability, not just delivery
  • Comfortable collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders
