About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and progress a pipeline of defence opportunities from qualification to close, maintaining accurate CRM forecasting.
  • Drive new business through structured outreach: identify prospects, secure meetings, and convert to qualified pipeline.
  • Report on pipeline health, sales KPIs, and deal progress for internal reviews and investor updates.
  • Represent the company at industry events and lead customer meetings and site visits.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and delivery teams on technical proposals and order execution.
  • Monitor competitor activity and procurement signals within target accounts.
  • Build and manage multi-level relationships across procurement, engineering, and programme stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate, timely CRM (Salesforce) updates to support weekly reporting.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, business, or related field.
  • 10+ years in complex B2B sales with full-cycle ownership and a strong track record in high-value, long-cycle deals.
  • Experience in defence, aerospace, energy, or other regulated industries (preferred).
  • Solid technical literacy; able to engage with engineering and understand specifications and system constraints.
  • Familiarity with defence procurement, contracting structures, and tender processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management across procurement, engineering, and programme teams.
  • Business-level English and French (required).
  • CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive).
