About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and scale backend services to automate marketing technology processes and integration workflows
Build tools and systems that automate the asset lifecycle and streamline creative operations
Implement tracking, metrics, logs, and tracing for system observability and performance monitoring
Expand unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage
Set up automated testing pipelines to ensure code quality and fault tolerance
Participate in system architecture design and code reviews
Optimize backend performance to support business growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
Experience with PostgreSQL and a typed ORM such as Drizzle, Prisma, or TypeORM
Hands-on experience with Redis and message queues such as BullMQ, RabbitMQ, or SQS
Experience with idempotency, retries, and distributed locks
Experience integrating third-party REST APIs, including rate limits, pagination, and partial failures
Experience with Docker
Experience with CI/CD
Unit testing experience with Jest
Experience with Facebook Marketing API, Google Ads API, or other advertising platforms is nice to have
Experience with AWS services including ECS, ECR, S3, and Lambda is nice to have
Experience with GitHub Actions is nice to have
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and structured logging is nice to have
Experience integrating Airtable API and Google Sheets API is nice to have
Practical experience with LLM APIs such as Claude and Gemini is nice to have, including structured output and prompt versioning
