About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and scale backend services to automate marketing technology processes and integration workflows
  • Build tools and systems that automate the asset lifecycle and streamline creative operations
  • Implement tracking, metrics, logs, and tracing for system observability and performance monitoring
  • Expand unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage
  • Set up automated testing pipelines to ensure code quality and fault tolerance
  • Participate in system architecture design and code reviews
  • Optimize backend performance to support business growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and a typed ORM such as Drizzle, Prisma, or TypeORM
  • Hands-on experience with Redis and message queues such as BullMQ, RabbitMQ, or SQS
  • Experience with idempotency, retries, and distributed locks
  • Experience integrating third-party REST APIs, including rate limits, pagination, and partial failures
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Unit testing experience with Jest
  • Experience with Facebook Marketing API, Google Ads API, or other advertising platforms is nice to have
  • Experience with AWS services including ECS, ECR, S3, and Lambda is nice to have
  • Experience with GitHub Actions is nice to have
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and structured logging is nice to have
  • Experience integrating Airtable API and Google Sheets API is nice to have
  • Practical experience with LLM APIs such as Claude and Gemini is nice to have, including structured output and prompt versioning
