About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the New Business Conflicts Clearance team by conducting thorough conflicts checks.
- Maintain accurate records in the conflicts database.
- Ensure the seamless operation of the conflicts resolution process.
- Review and analyze conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts of interest.
- Collaborate with members of the New Business Conflict Clearance team and Office of the General Counsel.
- Validate the requirements for each conflict check.
- Conduct corporate research using both internal and external resources.
- Provide coverage for department functions, including after-hours and weekend support as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years experience in new business conflicts analysis at an Am Law 200 firm is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with conflicts database software, preferably iManage or Intapp.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating and business needs.
