About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers through meetings, emails or phone calls to meet or exceed established sales goals
Promote SJE’s Controls and Level Sensing Technologies (CLT) products within the municipal water and wastewater industry
Work with customers to find solutions to their problems and conduct product training for employees, distributors and end-users
Analyze market trends to identify new product ideas and develop value propositions & case studies
Plan/represent SJE at regional and national trade shows and develop and plan regional and national distribution meetings across the region

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A natural drive to succeed and be very well organized
A high level of technical automation competence to support customer and company needs
An understanding of rep management, know your territory, and be able to build relationships
A 2-year technical degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7-10 years of experience is preferred
