About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers through meetings, emails or phone calls to meet or exceed established sales goals
  • Promote SJE’s Controls and Level Sensing Technologies (CLT) products within the municipal water and wastewater industry
  • Work with customers to find solutions to their problems and conduct product training for employees, distributors and end-users
  • Analyze market trends to identify new product ideas and develop value propositions & case studies
  • Plan/represent SJE at regional and national trade shows and develop and plan regional and national distribution meetings across the region

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A natural drive to succeed and be very well organized
  • A high level of technical automation competence to support customer and company needs
  • An understanding of rep management, know your territory, and be able to build relationships
  • A 2-year technical degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7-10 years of experience is preferred
