Municipal Sales Manager
SJE Rhombus. Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers through meetings, emails or phone calls to meet or exceed established sales goals .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers through meetings, emails or phone calls to meet or exceed established sales goals
- Promote SJE’s Controls and Level Sensing Technologies (CLT) products within the municipal water and wastewater industry
- Work with customers to find solutions to their problems and conduct product training for employees, distributors and end-users
- Analyze market trends to identify new product ideas and develop value propositions & case studies
- Plan/represent SJE at regional and national trade shows and develop and plan regional and national distribution meetings across the region
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A natural drive to succeed and be very well organized
- A high level of technical automation competence to support customer and company needs
- An understanding of rep management, know your territory, and be able to build relationships
- A 2-year technical degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7-10 years of experience is preferred
