• Ensure organisational structure is relevant and correct equipment is available
• Lead and supervise teams, ensuring Chargehands carry out duties effectively
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure teams comply with safety and quality standards
• Ensure teams follow health, safety, environmental and quality protocols
• Support Buildings Logistics Manager to maintain KPIs, safe systems of work, DABs and day notes
• Mentor and train staff and deliver essential training
• Report observations and near misses and contribute to continuous improvement
