About the role
- Provide leadership, management, and assurance for day-to-day operational services.
- Lead and manage site-based operational staff, setting clear expectations, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee and govern visitor access and permissions processes, ensuring compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate operational records are maintained.
- Manage operational planning for service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Act as the initial escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project delivery.
- Manage contractor performance, ensuring service levels and delivery standards meet contractual and project requirements.
- Develop, review, and improve operational processes, driving efficiencies, standardisation, and continuous improvement across site operations.
- Produce and review operational performance reports, dashboards, and management information to inform decision-making and highlight risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives, project leadership, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted operational partner.
- Ensure a professional, customer-focused operational service is delivered across the site, setting standards for communication, responsiveness, and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify and manage operational risks, implementing mitigations and contributing to site-wide safety, security, and compliance objectives.
Requirements
- CITB H&S test pass certificate for Manager and Professionals
- Previous experience in training or onboarding
- Use of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Previous experience of having coordinated onboarding or training
- Skilled at developing strong relationships within large organisations
- Presenting and training delivering skills
- Evidence of right to work in the UK
