Support the definition and validation of Technical Requirements and Specifications working closely with EDF Nuclear Services and the Sizewell C Design Authority.
Manage technical Open Points and Design Changes, ensuring alignment with governance processes such as the TDF, NCC, NPWCC and our Replication Principles.
Contribute to Design Technical Assurance across the full lifecycle.
Manage risk through established processes and lead technical input on Early Warnings, Compensation Events, Technical Queries, and communications from the Design Supply Chain.
Coordinate with other stakeholders and manage technical interfaces across the project.
Ensure compliance and support delivery from requirements capture to Engineering Design Review (EDR), in line with Contract Schedules and the Integrated Work Schedule (IWS).
Direct line management responsibility for 1 or 2 individuals, and coordination of a significant design supply chain, with a design budget in the region of £50m over the next 5 years.
Requirements
Experience in heavy civil engineering design (reinforced concrete, structural steel) aligned with European Standards
Skilled in design integration, team leadership, and delivery management.
Expertise in managing complex interfaces in regulated, high-safety environments.
Strong engineering knowledge across design processes, systems, and disciplines.
Familiar with EPR nuclear design and NEC contract frameworks.
Skilled in engineering documentation workflows and review procedures.
Proficient in engineering management systems and software tools.
Effective communicator across project teams, stakeholders, regulators, and authorities.
