About the role

  • supporting the review and acceptance of nuclear-classified structural designs
  • assisting in the release of design packages for construction
  • ensuring compliance with regulatory and technical standards
  • participating in outage activities and investment delivery projects
  • building relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulators
  • contributing to the civil design and construction for Hinkley Point C
  • supporting life extension projects for existing nuclear fleet

Requirements

  • degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer, ideally working towards Chartership status
  • skilled in designing or reviewing reinforced concrete and steelwork structures
  • working to Eurocodes or other recognised standards
  • confident leading integrated technical solutions, governance, and stakeholder engagement
  • analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • evidence of right to work in the UK
