About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the Owner’s Representative throughout all phases of design and construction, from concept through closeout.
Manage multiple simultaneous projects, including airport rental car facilities, maintenance shops, fueling systems, car wash systems, plumbing and electrical infrastructure, ADA accessibility features, and administrative offices.
Oversee programming, design development, permitting, procurement, and construction to ensure alignment with company standards, operational requirements, and brand image.
Ensure compliance with lease agreements, airport design criteria, local building codes, ADA requirements, safety regulations, and sustainability goals.
Lead negotiations and manage relationships with landlords, airport authorities, and regulatory agencies.
Utilize technical knowledge in fueling system design, permitting, construction, automatic car wash systems, plumbing and electrical systems and codes, and IT system cabling design and installation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of progressive experience in design and construction project management, preferably in an owner’s rep or client-side capacity.
A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and Primavera.
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and on budget.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with executives, operations teams, contractors, and public agencies.
Ability to travel frequently to project sites across the U.S. and Canada.
