About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership and direction across a portfolio of Federal Civilian contracts, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to government customers, including Contracting Officers, CORs, and senior agency leaders.
  • Be accountable for the overall health of the portfolio, including revenue, profitability, staffing, forecasting, customer satisfaction, and delivery performance.
  • Help others succeed by mentoring Program Managers, supporting talent development, and strengthening leadership capabilities across the organization.
  • Play an active role in growing the business by helping shape recompetes, capture strategies, proposals, and account expansion opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12+ years of experience leading programs, portfolios, or delivery organizations supporting U.S. federal government customers.
  • 5+ years of experience managing leaders, Program Managers, or large delivery teams in a federal contracting environment.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-program portfolios while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business performance.
  • Experience owning portfolio financial performance, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, staffing strategy, and resource planning.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build trusted relationships and effectively engage senior government and industry stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of federal contracting, including FAR-based contracts, IDIQ/task order vehicles, subcontractor management, and program governance.
  • Experience supporting business growth through capture activities, proposal development, recompetes, and strategic account expansion.
  • Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed teams in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and day-to-day execution.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
