About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

SQC activities include identification of proper documentation for data capture
Capture information within system or designated area
Run embedded rules and logic against information
Clear validations and apply exceptions as necessary
Perform servicing QC reviews at client or counter-parties' place of business
Review loan packages, servicing guidelines, or data files
Perform QC Reviews for peers
Defend audit results on client-facing phone calls
Capture required information from documentation in designated place

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least three years of related servicing experience preferred
College degree / training in Finance / mortgage banking desired or equivalent combination of education and experience
Entry-level support staff with 0-2 years of relevant experience
Excellent PC skills and possess high level of proficiency in Microsoft products
Strong overall knowledge of Residential Mortgage Servicing practices, rules, and guidelines
Knowledgeable of the principals and compliance regulations and documentation applicable to mortgage servicing
Familiarity with fraudulent red flags and outside services used to determine or verify fraud
Ability to read and evaluate payment histories and servicing comments
