Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems
Make design decisions encouraging leveragability, potential reuse, componentization, extensibility, and maintainability
Troubleshoot and solve difficult customer issues
Maintain knowledge of currently evolving platforms, programming languages, and web/database technologies
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in technology
Advise and mentor Software Development team members
Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience
Solid knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented (Analysis, Design, Programming)
Working knowledge of multiple languages including PHP, Json, Java, AWS, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, VUE, React)
Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools
Experience with Docker containerization and EKS
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Experience with Application Integration and building APIs
Experience working on Agile Scrum and DevOps teams
Ability to develop Cloud native apps or migrate apps to cloud, preferably AWS
