About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide analytical support in the underwriting and closing of commercial real estate loans
Review, analyze and interpret financial operating statements, rent rolls, and due diligence requirements
Assist with loan closings and procure needed closing items
Research, analyze, and summarize tenant level information including financial trends
Conduct telephone interviews to solicit market data
Write property, market, borrower/sponsor descriptions for credit memos
Assist in developing value conclusions for all property types

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education and experience
Entry level professional with 0-2 years of industry and/or relevant experience
0-2 years' experience in real estate-related or financial services industry
Experienced underwriting agency multifamily, CMBS or CRE balance sheet loans preferred
Familiarity with commercial real estate, affordable housing loans, due diligence process
Proficient in Argus preferred
Excel and cash flow modeling skills
