About the role
- Own end-to-end new business opportunities, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Personally source, shape, and properly qualify new business opportunities.
- Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract closure.
- Develop, maintain, and execute account plans for national security clients and prospects.
- Present business solutions at the executive level.
- Define and present compelling, customized value propositions and demonstrate technology solutions to prospects and clients.
- Use Salesforce to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, and tasks.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience closing 7-figure accounts.
- 5-10+ years of experience working within the national defense/defense technology ecosystem.
- 3+ years of experience meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a technology sales environment.
- Demonstrated success in new account development.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong work ethic, strategic mindset, and dedication to doing what’s best for the business.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Current possession of a U.S. security clearance or the ability to obtain one with sponsorship.
- Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
- Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
