About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- optimizing production operations for wafer test and logistics
- capacity planning, wafer logistics and Inventory management
- Test Floor planning, KPI setup and review
- optimization of logistics systems and software
- improving efficiency throughout the Operations organization
- Capacity and Cost model for Operations, both current and future product planning
- Test and optimize logistics software, such as Oracle and ERP systems
- Establish standard process methodologies and tools to enable efficient workflows.
- Create and improve necessary documentation
- Improve shipping and receiving of materials to domestic and international locations
- Inventory management at Santa Clara site
- Own and analyze manufacturing KPIs (cycle time, WIP, utilization, OTD)
- Perform bottleneck and what if capacity analysis to support product mix changes and ramps
- Develop dashboards and recurring reports for wafer operations and logistics performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field
- Familiarity with Semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing
- Knowledge of smart manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and/or Lean Manufacturing.
- SQL for data extraction and analysis from MES / ERP systems
- Experience with MES / manufacturing databases and data visualization tools
- Expert in Planning Software tools such as Monday, Access,
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and computer tasks required.
- Computer programming skills are a plus, especially Python and C++ scripting
- Must have good planning skills and be able to work independently without supervision.
