About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide frontline technical assistance and support to SiteMinder customers globally
  • Develop customer relationships through technical and analytical support via phone, email, chat, and other appropriate channels
  • Identify customer support and configuration requirements, set expectations, and resolve issues against KPIs
  • Resolve or escalate cases according to SLAs and KPIs, prioritizing the caseload
  • Log internal and external customer issues accurately in Salesforce CRM
  • Participate in product enhancement and training sessions
  • Provide feedback to improve SiteMinder products and systems
  • Test new-feature compatibility with existing product features and systems, documenting observations and outcomes
  • Maintain knowledge of technical and feature developments through workshops, publications, and training
  • Identify and own improvements to support methods and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High level of customer service and analytical skills
  • Technical knowledge, especially from a hotel background
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and a process improvement mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Proven ability to work remotely successfully across teamwork, learning and development, productivity, and motivation
  • Experience in a high-volume, telephone-based, SLA- and KPI-driven environment
  • Stakeholder management and ownership mentality across internal and external teams and partners
  • Ability to operate across several platforms and system environments simultaneously
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot web browser and connectivity issues
