About the role
- Assist in exploration and refinement of the product roadmap by partnering closely with the Product Manager.
- Prioritise the team’s product backlog to ensure focus is on maximum value aligned with product strategy.
- Maintain the team’s product backlog, ensuring an appropriate pipeline of refined items is ready for development.
- Work closely with the Engineering team to translate requirements into user stories with detailed feature specifications and well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies including refinement, planning, reviews, inceptions and retrospectives.
- Define product release plans and regularly communicate delivery progress and milestones to all affected stakeholders.
- Manage production issues and customer support queries, incorporating small fixes and enhancements into the backlog.
- Stay current with product management best practices, industry trends, and Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- A curious product mindset with a passion for mobile-first experiences.
- Excellent communicator with ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
- Skilled facilitator who drives outcomes through cross-functional collaboration.
- 3+ years’ experience in Agile delivery environments, ideally with exposure to mobile application development.
- Familiarity with mobile development lifecycles, app store processes, and platform-specific constraints and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of product tools, lifecycle and practices.
- Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and timely delivery.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong user empathy.
