About the role
- SiteMinder is the world's leading open hotel commerce platform, powering 47,000 hotels in 150 countries and processing over 125 million reservations annually.
- Relocation package available; role based in Barcelona, Spain; EU right to work and fluent German and good level of English required.
- Visionary Regional Sales Director to drive growth in the DACH market; craft bold go-to-market plans and lead cross-functional teams.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing go-to-market team; collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and onboarding.
- Manage regional sales budget and drive revenue growth, market penetration, and customer expansion.
- Represent the company at events, build client relationships, and monitor KPIs to optimize performance.
- Hybrid working model with a Barcelona office; flexible, fast-paced environment with relocation to Spain.
Requirements
- Experience within the travel sector is a significant plus but not essential.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and scale a high-performing sales team to achieve significant revenue growth.
- In-depth understanding of the DACH market, familiarity with local cultures, and business environments.
- Strong business acumen, including the ability to study market intelligence data and translate into actionable strategies and sales plans.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
- Fluent in German is essential.
