About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, principles, and standards.
- Ensure alignment of IT architecture with Siteimprove’s business goals and compliance requirements.
- Establish governance processes for technology adoption and lifecycle management.
- Apply architectural standards consistently across the application lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design end-to-end solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Oversee integration of applications, data, and infrastructure across hybrid environments (cloud and on-premises).
- Define and maintain technology roadmaps for applications, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to improve efficiency and security.
- Enable safe adoption of Data and AI capabilities, applying privacy and AI governance principles.
- Partner with Information Security to ensure architecture meets regulatory and security standards (e.g., GDPR, FedRAMP, ISO 27001).
- Embed security-by-design principles into all architectural decisions.
- Champion Zero Trust Architecture across the organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology strategy.
- Mentor and support technical leads to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Prepare and support M&A activities, including technology due diligence and integration planning.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, with at least 3 years in enterprise architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), SaaS solutions, and integration patterns.
- Experience with implementing architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modelling tools.
- Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture within complex, multi-platform environments.
- Familiarity with AI governance and responsible innovation practices.
- Excellent understanding of master data management and enterprise data flows.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams.
