About the role

  • As an **AI SEO Strategist**, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing cutting-edge strategies that maximize our company's visibility and ranking across both traditional search engines and the rapidly evolving AI-driven search landscape;
  • Significantly elevate our brand's presence and favorable positioning within AI Overviews, LLM surfaces, and other emerging AI-driven search experiences;
  • Develop and execute innovative SEO and AI content strategies that lead to tangible improvements in search rankings, organic traffic, and conversions, all backed by robust data analysis and continuous optimization;
  • Navigate the optimization of all aspects of our digital presence – from technical site architecture and schema markup to compelling, AI-optimized content;
  • Proactively monitor AI developments in content marketing and search, identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions to keep us ahead of the curve;
  • Smooth integration with our content and development teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on SEO experience in English, with a strong focus on technical SEO, content optimization and most recently, AI optimization;
  • Hands-on experience optimising for AI-driven SERP features (e.g., SGE/AI Overviews, ChatGPT Browse, Perplexity);
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4);
  • Prior work with AI visibility tracking platforms (e.g., Profound, Brandtech, Peec.AI);
  • Content leadership: ability to brief, edit and QA high-E-E-A-T long-form that aligns to search intent, structure, and business goals;
  • Leverages AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to accelerate work while applying critical judgment;
  • Solid understanding of content marketing funnel and distribution;
  • Prior experience with link building with external organizations.
