About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape, evolve and govern the IT strategy of the Southern Europe & Africa region
Develop and maintain a multi-year IT roadmap
Act as the primary interface with Flutter Group IT Strategy
Support the definition and prioritization of strategic IT initiatives and transformation programs
Lead identification and evaluation of emerging technologies
Oversee the adoption of Generative AI solutions and support the Innovation Lab
Partner with senior business and IT leaders to translate business needs into strategic directions
Contribute to the development of strategic capabilities within IT

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in IT Strategy, IT Governance or Technology Transformation
Proven exposure to end-to-end IT strategy definition and evolution
Strong ability to operate at executive and senior stakeholder level
Experience in technology evaluation, roadmap definition, and strategic prioritization
Familiarity with cost-benefit analysis, TCO/ROI modeling, and value-driven decision frameworks
Working knowledge of IT Governance & Management: ITIL, TBM
Awareness of Enterprise Architecture concepts and frameworks
Awareness or advanced understanding of Cloud strategy and architectural principles
Knowledge of KPI definition, IT performance monitoring, reporting tools
Understanding of Generative AI solutions and governance principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
