About the role
- We are seeking reinforcement for our property portfolio in the area of fire protection
- Responsible for the strategic development and sustainable assurance of fire safety management across Germany
- This position will work closely with our internal stakeholders and take overall responsibility for all operational fire safety matters
- Inventory & documentation: Identify and record the current status of fire safety, based on due diligence checks during acquisitions, regular fire inspections by local fire departments, and the requirements of the TPrüfV of the German federal states
- Capex planning & implementation: Develop and continuously update the Capex requirements to plan fire-safety-related investments efficiently and in phases
- Liaison with authorities: Work closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and to obtain necessary approvals
- Process control & reporting: Establish and monitor a reporting system for transparent planning and implementation of fire safety measures, including progress tracking, controlling and reporting
- Cross-site implementation: Coordinate closely with the Heads of Operations to ensure consistent and efficient implementation of fire safety measures across all sites
- Strategic development: Prepare and present concepts for the standardized and strategic further development of fire protection across the entire portfolio
Requirements
- Completed technical degree with a focus on construction/real estate or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in real estate portfolio management with a focus on fire protection and in developing fire protection strategies for complex portfolios
- Solid knowledge in Health & Safety and further training in fire protection
- Project management experience, especially in steering and supervising fire protection measures in collaboration with internal teams and external fire safety experts
- Business-fluent German, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and assertiveness to act as the central contact person and successfully drive fire-safety-related projects
- Willingness to travel nationwide within Germany
