About the role
- Planning, coordinating and implementing IT-related transformation projects (e.g., M&A IT integration, tool/process harmonization, change support)
- Analyzing processes, project landscapes, organizational structures and tool setups — with a focus on efficiency, impact and user acceptance
- Developing transformation strategies, action areas and project portfolios together with clients
- Supporting and shaping organizational changes, including communication concepts and change measures
- Conducting workshops, assessments and decision presentations at management level
- Working closely with client teams and taking responsibility for the development of junior consultants
- Continuously building and maintaining client relationships based on mutual respect
- Preparing concepts and participating in pre-sales activities
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in consulting or operational management of IT-related transformation projects
- Practical experience in at least one of the following areas: IT project management (waterfall or hybrid), post-merger integration / IT carve-out, change management / agile transformation, process analysis / tool evaluation / portfolio review
- Solid knowledge of at least one project methodology (PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
- Methodically confident but not dogmatic — you focus on impact, not buzzwords
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and empathy when dealing with stakeholders
- High level of personal responsibility, willingness to travel within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and very good German as well as solid English skills.
