About the role

  • Analyse and optimise benchmark and application codes to leverage SiPearl processor architectures
  • Design, run, and monitor test scenarios, collect and validate performance results
  • Produce detailed performance analyses and forecasts for pre-silicon, simulation and silicon phases
  • Identify and fix software issues impacting benchmarks and applications
  • Package, document and present benchmark results and improvements internally and externally
  • Contribute to collaborative R&D projects with academic and industrial partners

Requirements

  • Strong experience in benchmarking and performance analysis in Cloud and/or HPC environments
  • Solid knowledge of programming languages and parallel computing models (C, C++, Fortran, OpenMP, MPI)
  • Good understanding of processor architectures (Aarch64, x86)
  • A rigorous and analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret performance data and propose optimisations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in an international environment
  • Experience in the following areas is a plus
  • Pre-silicon, simulation or silicon performance evaluation
  • Benchmark development, validation and packaging
  • Participation in collaborative research or industrial projects
  • Supervision or mentoring of trainees
