About the role
- Analyze SaaS metrics including MRR, ARR, churn rates, CAC, LTV, and expansion revenue.
- Own and improve sophisticated financial models for revenue/GP forecasting, unit economics, and scenario planning.
- Use market information and cross-functional input to enhance forecasting accuracy and provide greater insight into GP drivers.
- Participate in monthly closing, forecasting, and budgeting processes as well as providing analysis on customer pricing scenarios. Streamline profitability reporting on a per-customer basis for top customers.
- Act as a valued business partner to the Engage Product team by providing informed, proactive analysis and business insights to enable effective decision-making and efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with peers to complete special projects while effectively managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably SaaS or subscription business.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and financial skills with a data-driven focus.
- Experience with Tableau, Netsuite, Anaplan and/or Salesforce is a plus.
- Proven ability to visualize data and tell a compelling story.
- Strong “customer service” focus and ability to create value for stakeholders.
