About the role
- Sinch Email powers over 250 billion emails annually and includes Mailgun, Mailjet, Email on Acid, and InboxReady.
- Mid-level Fullstack Developer role on the Mailjet App team working on backend (PHP) and frontend (React).
- Develop, maintain, and evolve applications by writing clear and sustainable code.
- Participate in code reviews, use CI/CD tools, collaborate with design and product teams, and reduce technical debt.
- Write technical documentation and create prototypes to validate feasibility of new solutions.
- Fully remote role based in France; applicants must hold French or EU/EEA citizenship or have a valid French work permit.
- Hiring process includes structured, competency-based interviews and may include data-driven assessments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in building large-scale, distributed web applications.
- Proficiency in PHP and React, with end-to-end development experience.
- Experience with RESTful services and working within a CI/CD pipeline.
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git.
- A strong team spirit and excellent communication skills.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, methodological approach, and enthusiasm.
- Preferred: Experience with TypeScript and PHP frameworks.
- Preferred: Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Preferred: Familiarity with security vulnerabilities and secure coding best practices.
- Preferred: Knowledge of or interest in learning Go to support the continuous improvement of our API.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Agile methodologies and associated tools.
- Preferred: Motivation for continuous improvement and learning about new technologies.
