About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, target, and acquire new CPG customers across North America, prioritizing opportunities in Ontario and the GTA
  • Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate new sales opportunities
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified CPG prospects
  • Schedule and attend in-person meetings and facility visits with prospects across Ontario and the GTA
  • Present our packaging capabilities and develop custom packaging solutions based on customer needs
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to close new business
  • Work closely with internal teams (estimating, production, and customer service) to ensure accurate quoting and smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and pipeline in CRM systems
  • Represent us at industry trade shows, events, and networking events; and conduct pre-show prospect outreach and post-show follow-ups to convert leads and opportunities into new business
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual new revenue targets.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of business development or new business sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Strong preference for candidates with:
  • Experience selling to CPG brands, or Direct experience working within the CPG industry
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business
  • Experience selling manufacturing, packaging, printing, or supply chain services is an asset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong hunter mentality and ability to work independently
  • Based in the Toronto / Greater Toronto Area
  • Valid Ontario G Class driver’s license
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for local client visits and prospect meetings
  • Ability to travel locally within Ontario and the GTA, with occasional travel across North America as needed.
