About the role

  • Lead Business Development: Identify and connect with prospective clients through research, outreach, and high-quality phone interactions. Challenge prospects by proposing innovative tools and engineering processes to inspire business growth. Conduct industry and market research to uncover opportunities and stay ahead of trends.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Lead software sales for new business and renewals in your territory, meeting or exceeding revenue goals. Collaborate with Territory Account Managers to execute milestone-driven sales strategies. Maintain accurate records of calls, appointments, and events in Salesforce.com.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and nurture long-term client partnerships to ensure ongoing success. Work closely with engineering teams to address technical inquiries and advance sales opportunities. Organize and participate in impactful customer-facing events, such as workshops and seminars.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Associate degree or higher.
  • Proven experience in sales (software sales is ideal).
  • Familiarity with engineering simulation products and related technologies (e.g., CAD, HPC).
