About the role

  • Plan and organize customer visits in line with management requests
  • Prepare and submit weekly activity reports
  • Support and advise customers and provide technical assistance
  • Ensure the company pricing policy in collaboration with the Sales Manager
  • Prepare tailored offers and conduct follow-ups
  • Conduct customer sales
  • Promote the company’s product range and new products using provided materials
  • Handle all customer disputes
  • Manage actions related to accounts receivable aging
  • Prospect for new clients using all available channels
  • Perform pull-out tests related to construction sites and conduct product demonstrations within the assigned territory
  • Conduct commercial, technical and competitive market monitoring
  • Assist with in-store shelf installations and planogram implementation at customer locations
  • Support sales teams and customers (training, joint sales visits, etc.)
  • Attend national trade shows and regional open-house events
  • Use all documentation and tools (goods returns, quality processes, CRM, SAP, SST - Etanco Home…)
  • Follow alignment guidelines between Sales and Operations
  • Submit monthly expense reports via the group's Concur tool

Requirements

  • Degree in construction/building trades or sales, plus a minimum of 2 years' field sales experience
  • Or a minimum of 5 years' experience in field sales
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in office tools (especially Excel)
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Ideally, experience with SAP
  • Valid driving licence (category B)
