About the role
- Plan and organize customer visits in line with management requests
- Prepare and submit weekly activity reports
- Support and advise customers and provide technical assistance
- Ensure the company pricing policy in collaboration with the Sales Manager
- Prepare tailored offers and conduct follow-ups
- Conduct customer sales
- Promote the company’s product range and new products using provided materials
- Handle all customer disputes
- Manage actions related to accounts receivable aging
- Prospect for new clients using all available channels
- Perform pull-out tests related to construction sites and conduct product demonstrations within the assigned territory
- Conduct commercial, technical and competitive market monitoring
- Assist with in-store shelf installations and planogram implementation at customer locations
- Support sales teams and customers (training, joint sales visits, etc.)
- Attend national trade shows and regional open-house events
- Use all documentation and tools (goods returns, quality processes, CRM, SAP, SST - Etanco Home…)
- Follow alignment guidelines between Sales and Operations
- Submit monthly expense reports via the group's Concur tool
Requirements
- Degree in construction/building trades or sales, plus a minimum of 2 years' field sales experience
- Or a minimum of 5 years' experience in field sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in office tools (especially Excel)
- Experience using a CRM
- Ideally, experience with SAP
- Valid driving licence (category B)
