About the role
- Produce monthly financial reconciliations and management reporting information to feed into the HQ Finance team
- Assist with tracking project budgets and flagging variances to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
- Accurately process payroll and payroll taxes
- Maintain accurate financial records to support audits and internal reviews
- Preparation of year end accounts
- Input and support in annual budget process
- Process invoices, receipts, expense reports and payments in line with Simprints’ financial policies and procedures
- Raise AR invoices and manage timely receipts
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the Ghana office, including supplies, facilities, and logistics
- Coordinate travel, visas, and accommodation for staff and visitors
- Act as the main point of contact with local vendors, service providers, and office partners
- Support procurement and vendor management in line with organisational policies
- Support onboarding and offboarding of staff and consultants in coordination with the HQ People team
- Maintain accurate local HR files and documentation
- Assist with timesheet collection, leave tracking, and local HR compliance requirements
- Serve as a local point of contact for people-related operational queries
Requirements
- Strong financial administration and bookkeeping skills in multinational corporations
- Experience supporting budgets and financial reporting
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- A service-oriented mindset, comfortable supporting diverse teams
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both local teams and HQ stakeholders
- Experience with transfer pricing
- Experience with calculation and submission of Ghana VAT, WHT, corporate tax, and payroll taxes
- Knowledge of Ghana employment law
