About the role
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and Python batch jobs.
- Turn equity research and analysis into automated systems and tools for individual investors.
- Develop systems to process and present data from Capital IQ on our stock investing tool.
- Create automated systems for equity news analysis across multiple industries.
- Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure our data systems are reliable, scalable, and efficient.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL with a strong understanding of best practices in software engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of equity markets, stock analysis, and financial valuation principles.
- Proven experience in coding financial analysis, ideally within equity research.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of financial reports and accounting principles.
- Experienced in building and managing data pipelines.
- Motivated by solving complex problems and delivering real value to investors.
