About the role
- Develop and execute strategies to encourage investors to share and create user-generated investment narratives.
- Foster peer-to-peer engagement by driving follows, comments, likes, and collaboration between investors.
- Moderate conversations to maintain an informed, respectful, and data-driven environment.
- Build and manage a network of external creators, analysts, and contributors who add depth and diversity to the community’s investing discussions.
- Partner with the Community Product team to improve community tools, engagement loops, and the investor experience.
- Own and improve Simply Wall St’s key community newsletters: Weekly Picks & Community Digest
- Develop and execute social sharing strategies to showcase top community narratives and discussions, driving new investors to engage with and join the Simply Wall St community.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to test and optimise cross-platform campaigns that convert engaged audiences into active community members.
- Manage the end-to-end process for sponsored narrative content, from briefing and writing/editing to publishing and performance tracking.
- Coordinate with third-party writers, contributors, and advertisers to deliver high-quality, engaging, and compliant stories that resonate with investors.
- Track engagement, reach, and ROI for sponsored narratives, providing regular reports to partners and internal teams.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of investing concepts, financial markets, and the mindset of long-term retail investors.
- Experience in community management, growth marketing, (forums, Discord, Reddit, or similar).
- Experience with editorial writing within investing, fintech, or financial media.
- Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, and Substack as investor engagement and acquisition platforms.
- Experience using marketing tools like Braze
