About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor workflows and data pipelines to ensure smooth operations.
Investigate and resolve internal data complaints and operational issues.
Check schedules for failures and report issues.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve operational or scheduling problems.
Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency.
Implement and update hardcoding rules for parsers.
Fix issues with existing parsers and optimize them for new content sources.
Configure, validate, and maintain data feeds.
Apply structured testing before releasing changes.
Respond to internal and external support cases within SLA times.
Ensure internal stakeholders receive timely support and issue resolution.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Location: Madrid
Are currently studying or have recently graduated in a relevant field (**Data, IT, Computer Science, Business, or related**).
Are legally authorized to work in Spain as a freelancer (autónomo)
Available for a long-term commitment (minimum 6 months), with the intention to transition into a full-time role; this is not a short-term or summer internship
Are **data-driven** with experience using data tools and working with datasets.
Have an **affinity for metadata** and understanding of content workflows.
Enjoy operationally heavy roles and want to grow your career in **operations.**
Think in **workflows and system dependencies**, not just isolated tasks.
Can **configure, validate, and maintain data feeds**.
Apply **structured testing** before releasing changes.
Seek **continuous improvement** in processes, tooling, and operational efficiency.
Are comfortable working with systems, data pipelines, and troubleshooting operational issues.
Have excellent written and spoken English.
